The Spanish Aluminium Rolling Association (ASELAM, by its Spanish acronym) represents the entire Spanish aluminium rolling industry, with an annual production of 500,000 tonnes of coils and sheets, equivalent to 10% of European production.
Its mission is to promote and support the development of the rolled aluminium industry, an essential and strategic sector at the national level, supplying raw materials to key sectors of the economy such as packaging, pharmaceuticals, construction, transport, energy, machinery, and industry in general.
The six members operate a total of seven plants in Spain, located across six autonomous communities.
ASELAM’s objective is to defend the interests of the sector from the perspective of the Spanish industry and to promote the benefits and consumption of rolled aluminium products in society, a factor that reflects the country’s level of development.
